It is with great pride that we share: our 2021 Alvarinho Brut Sparkling Wine has just been awarded the Grand Gold Medal at the 2025 Vinhos Verdes Region Wine Competition, one of the most prestigious distinctions granted by the Vinhos Verdes Region Viticulture Commission.

Out of around 300 wines in the tasting, we were one of only three producers to achieve this honor, which reinforces Dona Paterna’s position as a reference in the production of excellent wines and sparkling wines in the Monção and Melgaço sub-region.

This award recognizes the elegance, freshness and identity of our brut sparkling wine, made exclusively with Alvarinho grapes, using the classic method, with fine bubbles and an elegant profile. A wine designed to toast special moments, with a sophisticated and gastronomic profile that does not go unnoticed.
